Variety's Women In Film 2017

With Fashion Week popping up all over it’s hard to wrap our heads around all of the style and fashion and designs popping up, but we’re definitely not opposed to trying!

Awards season is some of the most fun and fashionable time of the year. Our favorite stars show up looking beautiful, bold and ready to steal any show. This past weekend we were thrilled to have the season kick off with the Emmys. The Emmys recognize all of the television actors and actresses and their awesome performances. It’s always enjoyable and entertaining compared to some of the other award shows.

With every award show, of course comes the pre-and post-parties! Another opportunity for celebs to sparkle, shine and make us all swoon over their looks. This year, we were presently surprised that Women’s Tuxedos took a major front running when it came to style of choice.

The women we have selected that are not only great talent, but have killer style completely owned women’s pantsuits and their purpose. They looked not only beautiful but confident and stylish which is what we here at Venus Tuxedo love to see.

Lea Michele 
Lea Michele is someone we always look forward to seeing at any event. She is always poised, pretty and so friendly. Giving off a little sexy vibe in her Cushnie Et Ochs White Tuxedo making all of the women envious and all the men drool. We’re seeing this look so much recently with the plunging neckline; so that paired with the flair sleeve and ankles gives off such a stylish look.

Julianne Hough
Triple threat of Hollywood, Julianne Hough was the definition of women’s suit goals in this stunning all-Mint Green Escada number. If we looked up chic in the dictionary, this is most likely what we would find. It’s simple, it’s pretty and it’s everything we could want when wearing an outfit like this. From the sheer top with the silk camisole to the way Julianne’s jacket is draped over her shoulders. This outfit is just completely spot on, on so many different levels.

Judith Light
If we have to be honest, actress Judith Light’s mission wearing this gorgeous gold tuxedo was definitely accomplished. Everything about this look is fashion-forward and chic. Judith, much like Julianne, accentuated her shimmering tuxedo with a black see-through blouse with design and black camisole. This choice really blended in perfectly to not only complete but compliment the look. We just simply cannot get over this outfit!

Shay Mitchell 
Shay Mitchell is kind of like a rare breed of human being in the sense that you could dress her in a bathrobe and she will still pull it off and make it individual. She always gives off this cool and chic but fashionista vibe that just makes her radiate on any carpet. This time was no different. Looking flawless in this shimmering all-black Rachel Zoe women’s tuxedo with, you guessed it, plunging neckline! Although a bold outfit, her subtle make-up and slicked back hair really let the tux shine…and it sure did its job!
